Founded in 1974, the Contra Costa Ballet Foundation is a non-profit organization, bringing the classical ballet tradition to the East Bay. Our mission is to provide professionally staged ballet performances to our community and scholarships to talented young dancers. We invite you to support the arts in your community.
Your support helps to sponsor two productions each season: Spring Repertory and The Nutcracker. These productions offer performance opportunities for our student dancers, contract professional dancers and fantastic shows at the Lesher Center for the Arts each season. In addition, your donations has enabled the Foundation to provide over $50,000 in scholarships over the last four years.
The Foundation also enables the Contra Costa Ballet Company to participate in various community events. In past years, we have participated in the Walnut Creek Light parade and the Christmas event at the Broadway Plaza, presented lecture demonstrations at Sun Valley Mall, and performed excerpts of the Story of the Nutcracker at Barnes and Noble. The Foundation also sponsors lecture demonstrations at the Contra Costa Ballet Centre for local school children.
As a sponsor, you will receive recognition on our website, in each performance program and on signage at each performance event. Additionally, you will have an opportunity to advertise in our performance programs and receive tickets to the performance of your choice.
If you have any questions or would like additional information, please contact our Board President Heather Hamilton at President@ContraCostaBallet.org. Thank you for your support!
