Stretch, move, and imagine with us this summer! At CCBC's "Ballet Classics Camp", your child will be introduced to the foundations of ballet while exploring the classic fairy-tale ballets through story and improvisation.

 

Camp will begin with a 1-hour ballet technique class, followed by snack-time and learning the chosen ballet classic of the day. The class will conclude with improvising different characters from the story. Ballet stories will change weekly. Dancers should bring water in a sealed container and a light, non-messy snack.

CAMP DRESS CODE

Girls:    Leotard with tights or leggings + ballet shoes or socks. Hair pulled back (e.g. ponytail, bun or braid).

Boys:    T-shirt with athletic pants + ballet shoes or socks.
